Software engineer with a lifelong passion for technology, aviation, and tinkering with hardware. From the Commodore 64 to cloud infrastructure, I’ve spent four decades building systems and pushing pixels.
Engineering Journey
My coding career started at 17 with a Commodore 64, teaching myself BASIC and 6502 assembly. The Amiga era (1000, then 3000) deepened my passion for low-level systems and creative computing.
- Broderbund Software — Worked on the Carmen Sandiego franchise
- Lego Mindstorms — Wrote the vision detection code for the Vision Command product
- Logitech — Worked on camera controller architecture
- Adobe (2004–present) — Desktop applications, hybrid web solutions, server infrastructure, and databases
When I’m Not Coding
I’m an RC aircraft enthusiast. Flying gliders, power planes, and 3D helicopters keeps me grounded (or airborne). There’s something meditative about the physics and precision required—it’s engineering with immediate, tangible feedback.
I tinker with Arduinos, Raspberry Pis, and single-board computers. Smart home automation, sensor projects, irrigation control—if it involves blinking LEDs or solving real problems at home, I’m interested. These side projects scratch a different itch than day-to-day software work.
